Timeouts are lightning-quick interviews, questions to help you get to know the players holding court at Dribbble. Thanks to Dash for being today’s interviewee.

Dash and his team are hosing a Dribbble Meetup this Saturday at their Roseville, California, offices just outside Sacramento. Don’t miss it, Dribbblers! Details at Meetup.com.

Who are you? Let us know where you hail from and what you do.

Dash. Founder/Creative Director at Creativeda.sh Design Studio.

What are you working on?

We are currently putting a lot of effort into www.ui8.net, a premium resource shop for UX / UI designers while working on a lot of fun and disruptive social apps for some great clients.

Choose a favorite shot of yours. Why is it a favorite?

Cover-inbox-4

Covert Inbox. I believe this was the first shot while experimenting with complex interaction concepts and trying to find the best way to showcase it on Dribbble. It was a success and a game changer for the team.

Tell us about your setup. What tools did you use to create the shot (e.g. hardware, software, pens, paper, blowtorch)?

Nothing out of the norm: Mac Pro 8-core, Photoshop, After Effects, and a whole lot of strong coffee.

Choose a favorite shot from another Player. Why do you dig it?

Squarespace6-shot

Squarespace 6 Out of the box by Mikael Eidenberg. Detailed, clean and very well balanced. The full view on that shot was just inspiring.
