When Carla Corrales created a Lilliputian ice cream cone, she wasn’t looking to set off a rebound frenzy in miniature or feed a pixelated fairy. The Argentine designer/illustrator, who designs for Aerolab and is also part of the Ricos Quesos crew, just wanted to put her skills to the test.

“To create this tiny shot, I only thought about the challenge of being able to illustrate something in 16px x 16px. And, of course, displayed correctly and clearly. So I tried with one of my favorite things: ice cream!” Carla told us. “Then with the support of Gustavo Zambelli and Wanda Arca, we thought it would be interesting if other players also create their favorite thing in that tiny way. But we had no idea that so many people would have fun making rebounds!”

Fun you had, in diminutive spades. (Did we look up “tiny” in our thesaurus? We did.) Fifty of you responded to the call, delighting us and yourselves and Carla, who “really enjoyed each rebound, and the ability of each player to create something small.”
