Designer Karli Ingersoll helps launch cool things. A cafe-gallery-music venue. A music festival. And, tomorrow, Land of Plenty, an art exhibit and live music experience.

Hosted by The Bartlett, the Spokane venue Karli runs with her husband Caleb Ingersoll, the event highlights the work of eight photographers, eight musician/songwriters, and 8 letter-loving designers. Working together, a photographer-designer pairing use a song as a jumping-off point for a piece of art.

Inspired by Cami Bradley of The Sweeplings, Toronto designer Marlene Silveira worked with photographer Grace Lindsey to create “Land of Plenty” (top row, left). “The Land of Plenty exhibit has been a wonderful way to discover new female talents ranging from photographers, musicians and designers/letterers like myself,” she told us. “This project is a unique collaboration of all three mediums into eight individual pieces inspired by one another.”
